Escape to the beautiful island of Samos for an inspiring Tango Vacation at the Hotel Zeus in Ireo!
After the end of the festival you can expand your tango experience on the island with additional days of learning and dancing under the stars. This unique holiday perfectly blends relaxation with passionate dance. Your days will start with engaging Tango lessons every morning, focusing on technique and connection, helping you elevate your skills. After relaxing at the hotel swimming pool or at the sea you get ready to spend the evening dancing tango in hotel, at the local winery after wine tasting or dancing greek traditional dances in a local taverna after sharing a traditional dinner.
All lessons will take place with Eva and Gustavo, two experienced Tango teachers who live and pass on tango with all their hearts. Together, Eva & Gustavo create an atmosphere in which you feel comfortable from the very first moment. Clear, sensitive explanations, a large dose of humour and their warm manner ensure that everyone – whether beginners or experienced dancers – learns, grows and enjoys themselves with pleasure. In their classes, they place great emphasis on body awareness, connection and musical presence.

Taverna Nektarios
Live Music and Greek Delights at Taverna Nektarios
Get ready for an authentic and unforgettable Greek Night at the charming Taverna Nektarios in Ireo, Samos! An evening of true Hellenic celebration, where the air is filled with delicious aromas and the spirit of ‘kefi’ (joy). We will be sharing a magnificent feast of traditional Greek specialties, freshly prepared with local ingredients.
But the experience doesn’t end there! As the evening deepens, we will be treated to lively live Greek music. Get ready to embrace the rhythm, join hands, and dance the night away—from the energetic sirtaki to the soulful zeibekiko—in true island style.
Excursion 1 – Saturday, 22nd August :
Excursion to the traditional village of Vathy in combination with the Theater Milonga.
The bus will depart from from Zeus Hotel and will go to the capital of the island, Samos Town. The bus will drive along the promenade of Vathy where we will have opportunity for a walk and then bring us to the traditional village of Vathy. We will arrive at the location “Gefiraki” where our local guide will wait for us. We will have a 20-30 Minutes walk with our local guide along the streets of the traditional village.
After this walk we will reach the theater Ai-Giannakis where the Open Air Theater Milonga will take place. After the Milonga the bus will wait for us and bring us back to Zeus Hotel.
Excursion 2 – Sunday, 23rd August :
Excursion to the Wine Museum and Navagos Beach
The bus will depart from Zeus Hotel and will go to the Wine Museum in Vathy and continue to the Navagos Beach where we will have time for lunch and swimming until the start of the afternoon milonga.
After the end of the milonga we will return to Zeus Hotel.
Excursion 3 – Wine tasting and Milonga at the Winery Hatziioannou
Located in the Mytilinioi area of Samos, Hatziioannou Estate is a family-run enterprise committed exclusively to crafting high-quality organic wines.
